The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. The amazing Old Town and the Sultanahmet are home to iconic Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. More history is hidden in the Topkapi Palace, where you can glimpse the splendor and opulence of Turkey’s Ottoman heritage.
Take a stroll through the historic center or the busy Taksim Square before watching the sun set behind countless mosques and minarets. Local fish markets and numerous restaurants lining the bridge to Galata offer the Golden Horn’s daily catch.
If you prefer the fine art of bargaining to fine art, lose yourself in the Grand Bazar and maybe you’ll emerge with a hookah, some Turkish coffee, or even a carpet. The Spice Bazar further immerses you in the sights, smells, and tastes of Turkish culture.
Getting to Istanbul is an easy trip from Ataturk International Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel on the Asian side or a budget hostel in Taksim Square, Booking.com has over 1,000 great accommodations for a vacation in Istanbul.
Istanbul is amazing. I stayed near the Agia Sophia and was close to everything. Would recommend pre buying skip the line tickets for everything except the Topkapi Palace which you can do yourself. You need at least 4 hours there. I did a great trip to Gallipoli and Troy. Great trip. Fabulous food!!!!!

An interesting city with a long & impressive history.
An interesting city with a long & impressive history. Many interesting sites to visit, We ate in small restaurants that catered mainly for local people & offered simple traditional Turkish food (ev yemekleri).Public transport is cheap & efficient but Istanbul traffic is horrendous with drivers displaying little respect for pedesstrians. I do not have any wish to visit Istanbul again."Once is enough !"

In Istanbul everyone can find something for themselves.
In Istanbul everyone can find something for themselves. There is a lot of historical places, museums you can visit.:
1) Hagia Sophia including Hagia Sophia museum
2) Blue Mosque
3) Topkapi Palace
4) Dolmabace Palace
5) Beylerbeyi Palace at Asian side.
There are breathtaking views (e.g. Pierre Lotie Eyüpsultan), especially near Bosphorous sea. Walk along Bosphorous.
Traditional food is available everywhere.
1) Delicious fishes at Galata bridge
2) Adana Kebab at most of restaurants
3) Turkish baklava with pistachios.
4) For fast and basic breakfest - testy and fresh "simit" (bagel).
Turkish coffee or tea (in tulip glass) is the absolutely must.
For those who like to feel the wind - there is a bunch of sea trips. For quick city trips you can go by Busforus buses. If you prefer to explore the city by yourself just buy Istanbul card and you can uses it at: trams, buses, metro, Marmaray trains (which goes under the sea).
Being in Istanbul you can be at European or Asian side (e.g. Üsküdar) in a few minutes

The Hagia Sophia museum was a good place to go to get to...
The Hagia Sophia museum was a good place to go to get to know some of the history of the area. The experience was different from what I had expected, with us having to move through in a group of 13 people, and with key video and sound effects.
The Grand Bazaar was well worth a visit, and I ended up making some purchases that I had not expected. One could bargain - one had to bargain - but you are never sure if you get a good price. Also we noticed that having made one purchase, we were strongly encouraged to go to other vendors - brothers, cousins - especially carpet shops!
The hop-on hop-off bus tour was also good; we did not hop-off but stayed on for the whole trip which took about 3 hrs. But beware - a lot of that time was spent in moving slowly through the old town!
Great hotel, located within 10seconds walk of Taksim square and Istiklal street, where you will find all the cafes, restaurants, shops etc.The hotel is nicely furnished and the staff are amazing.Very good breakfast on rooftop restaurant. Although all the main sites are not close they are easily within walking distance . we never used a bus or tram or taxi to get around. Best to stay in this area and visit Sultanahmet( the historical area) during the day. Will definitely stay here again when in Istanbul again
I liked the fact that this hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul and the prices are pretty decent given the location. The hotel’s proximity to landmarks such as Galata Tower and Taksim square really make it stand out.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and even though I only booked the hotel for 4 nights they were able to provide me with accommodation for 2 additional nights.
Overall, highly recommended! 🤩
All the best,
Georgi (Bulgaria) and Semra (Turkey)
Location is exceptional, it's in taksim square and at the same time we didn't hear much noise.
Different kinds of transportation is available and so close.
Aras was very helpful and kind and let us extend our stay and changed our room to a double room which was perfect and had everything we needed
The room was spacious unlike a lot of hotels with the same budget.
Totally recommened if you want to be in the middle of Istanbul on a budget and enjoy your stay in a nice place.
This property has almost everything one wants during travel. I stayed with my family for 04 nights. we were warmly welcomed and offered best hospitality possible. location is great. Just 02 minutes walk to Taksim Square. everything is nearby for daily life.
Hotel manager, Mehmet, is such a nice guy. He arranged a bosphorus cruise dinner trip and airport transfer at very good rate. He offered all kind of assistance wherever required. Highly recommend for stay.
The hotel is in a very good location. Close to Istiklar street, taksim square. Lots of places to eat, bars and clubs are all around this area. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they organized a transportation to the airport and gave recommendations of when would be the best time to leave. We stayed here for a few nights. There was a conditioner, hot water and comfortable beds. Walls are decorated with nice Ottoman paintings.
I have been several times to Istanbul and this is the best so far. First location easy to find, 5 mins walk to Taksim Square, food, supermarket everthing just next to the hotel.
Staff are super Kamran is very helpful. Making me tea, take my luggage to my room and find me cheap taxi. Wish all hotel in Istanbul give service like him. Seyyaf is also nice helping me. I will comeback next time visiting again with this price
The hotel is located in the best location in Taksim, near Taksim Square and one block from Istiklal Cd, which is one of the streets with the largest commerce in the place. The staff is always very willing to meet our needs at all times. I highlight Hasan since he helped us with solving doubts, he helped us with the laundry service and also with the transfer service to the airport.
in summary, a great hotel,
The location is amazing, just near Taksim Square but far enough from the main traffic. The hotel is new, rooms are super clean, staff is beyond polite and helpful (special thanks to Manager Mr.Dogan), breakfast is nice, in front of the hotel you have a cafe, prices are really good for Istanbul which is getting more and more expensive so my overall impression is great and I can't wait to come back :)
The hotel is located nearby Taksim square, a nice start to explore Istanbul. The staff is really friendly and helpfull A++
From Istanbul airport you could take a taxi to the hotel for around 700-800 Lira. They don`t offer breakfast but have coffee, coockies, water and some fruits available in the lobby. Around the hotel are plenty of restaurants where you can have your breakfast.
Ahmed, worker in this hotel is the best guy I have met in Istanbul. If you need tickets or any favour, Ahmed is capable to do it for you all in one place. Highly satisfied with stay at this Hotel. I consider this as 5 star hotel instead of 3 star. Cleanliness outstanding, tasty breakfast, polite and helpful behavior of hotel staff. 10 stars out of 10.
Best hotel ever in Istanbul. Perfect location which near to Taksim Square, eateries, and public transport. Easy to go anywhere. Not hard to find the hotel. Clean hotel, good breakfast, spacious room and very comfortable. Nice and helpful staffs. Sure will stay here again if I come to Istanbul again. Totally satisfied 👍👍👍👍👍
Location is fantastic, walking distance to Taksim square, and walking distance to Nishantashi. Metro station is 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Room is specious and bath shower is fabulous. Beds not very comfortable but is ok.
Breakfast is outstanding, it is the best breakfast i ever had in Istanbul 5 star Hotels.
